After church on the Sunday we received the micro-mission we went out for lunch as a family. When we went to leave, we left the waitress her normal tip, plus the extra micro-mission money along with a RockChurch card. I also wrote on the paper table cloth with crayon that we we simply wanted her to know that Jesus loves and cares about her. What's SO exciting is that we know that God used us as His messenger to demonstrate His love in a tangible way to a waitress in Wilmington, North Carolina that He is so in love with.
We still aren't done with this mission project. It is something that has inspired us to make this part of our weekly lifestyle for good. We now have a big stack of ROCKChurch cards right at the front of our SUV just so that at any given time when we feel led, we can grab one a go randomly bless someone and show them that Jesus loves them. We figure you never know when someone's life might be radically changed through a small, random act of kindness. And if we can be a part of making that happen, WE'RE IN!!!
