We’re holding our final fundraiser for our teens heading to Baton Rouge this year! The Rocky Point Fire Department has generously agreed to use their facilities and time to host a Pig & Chicken Pickin’ for our teens. Come out and see us and enjoy some amazing food for an incredible cause!
On January 12, 2010 a 7.0 earthquake delivered a blow to Haiti and likewise shook the hearts of the whole world. Only several months later much of the media attention has begun to subside. The need, however, is far from over. Some are estimating the rebuilding process in Haiti to last upwards of ten years. Tickets will be on sale for the next 2 Sundays, so bring the whole family and enjoy great food and fellowship while helping send our teens to serve in Baton Rouge!
FlipSide is heading back to the Baton Rouge Dreamcenter this year. We had an amazing time the past two years partnering with Healing Place Church and serving in one of the most crime ridden and poor areas of Baton Rouge. Through after school programs, street outreach, grocery give-aways, a free clothing boutique, homeless breakfast, etc., we were part of bringing light in the darkness and reaching those forgotten and abandoned by society. If you have a teen ages 13-18, don’t let them miss out on this incredible opportunity.
