I’m sure you’ve all heard of MTV Unplugged where artists do a stripped-down, basic performance for a small crowd. We’re using the same elements to create a night thats all about you and what’s on your mind.

Maybe you have questions, or just want to get some things off your chest, or maybe you just want to get out of the house… FlipSide UNPLUGGED is just for you. Every 2nd, 3rd, & 4th Wednesday from 7-9pm we’re dividing into small groups to let you talk about real life and real issues and then hang out afterwards and simply unwind.

We understand that school life can be a bloody battle, so at FlipSide UNPLUGGED we want to provide a lifeline to connect with you and help you through your week. It’s all about SMALL groups with BIG conversations!

WHO: 13-18 yr olds
WHEN: Every 2nd, 3rd, & 4th Wednesday from 7-9pm

DETAILS: Groups are divided by age (13-15 & 16-18) and gender in order to better discuss & address specific issues

The life of Jesus was the ultimate gift to humanity, and this year we want to use our gifts and talents to reflect His gift of LOVE to us.

We are calling on all artists, photographers and film-makers, professional, and amateur and everyone in between, to consider how you might want to be involved in the 2010 festival. We want people to be as creative as possible, as long as in some way your film or artwork reflects or includes reference to any one or more of the key themes that the Easter message represents:

SACRIFICE / RESURRECTION / FORGIVENESS / REDEMPTION / LOVE / THE CROSS

You can be as creative with that as you like.

Nobody is exempt from the ability to bring creative expression, so go for it. Selected artworks, photographs and films will be displayed in our Easter services.

So start creating!

MEMBERSHIP 101: Every 1st Sunday
Learn who we are, what we believe, how we are governed and the vision of ROCK Church. This class is essential to serving in many areas of ministry here.

ESSENTIALS 201: Every 2nd Sunday
Receive tools to help you develop Christian maturity as you follow Christ and learn how to develop your relationship with God. You will also learn about water baptism and have the opportunity to be baptized during the 11am service.

DISCOVERY 301: Every 3rd Sunday
Discover who you are in Christ. Learn how to share your faith with others. Explore who Holy Spirit is, what it means to be baptized in the Spirit, and what the fruit of the Spirit looks like in the life of a believer.

DREAM TEAM 401: Every 4th Sunday
This seminar will help you discover your unique, God given personality, purpose and gifts. Then we’ll help you know how to use them to find your fit in ministry. You’ll leave knowing how you can begin getting plugged-in to serve at ROCK Church!

Starting Sunday, August 30th, ROCK Church starting having 2 services each Sunday at 9:00 and 11:00. Why are we doing this? We are caring for each other. We are devoting Sundays to worship, honor, serve and learn about Jesus. We are preparing for the harvest. But, the most important reason is that God said. He said to get ready. So, that’s what we are doing.

It’s Summertime and FlipSide Youth is on the move! Find out what is going on with our teenagers this summer at flipside.net… they won’t want to miss a thing!

June 2009… The Church unites in action to reach our world.

We pray to Jesus asking Him to answer our prayers – what if we became the answer to His? In John 17:20-24, He prayed that we would be one, and One Prayer is an opportunity to see what can be accomplished when the Church works together.

In June 2008, God worked in amazing ways as more than two million believers stood together to pray, fast, learn, and love others. This year, we’ll be joining forces once again for an extraordinary worldwide experience: One Prayer 2009. Beginning the first weekend in June, we’ll come together for four weeks as we learn more about our Creator and go out into the world to share, serve and give.

To find out more about getting plugged in and becoming part of ROCK Church family, join us for our next Membership Class on Sunday, June14th from 10am-12pm. During the class, we will share the story of how ROCK Church was started, answer any questions you may have about the church, and give you the chance to meet and talk with church members and staff. Then, after completing the class, you will have the opportunity to join the church and become part of ROCK Church family!

On Sunday, April 26 at 6:00pm Pastor Bryan shared some of the exciting things coming to ROCK Church. The scripture tells us in Proverbs 29:18 that, “without vision, the people perish.” God has given us clear vision for where we are headed. If you missed vision night, go listen to the podcast. It’s big… we’re talking about God sized big! With each passing day, we get more excited about where God is taking us.

In Ephesians 3:20 MSG we read, “God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams!”
